What we collect

BillGuardRail collects your email address, QuickBooks Online company metadata (company name, realm ID), and normalized bill fields necessary to detect changes and exceptions. We do not collect or store full bank account numbers or ACH payment credentials.

How we use data

We use your data solely to monitor bill activity and send alert emails to addresses you configure. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.

Data retention

Bill snapshots, change history, and exceptions are retained while your QuickBooks connection is active. Disconnecting QuickBooks deletes that connection and its associated monitoring history (snapshots, bill/vendor change events, exceptions, and per-vendor thresholds). Deleting your account removes organization data. Email delivery logs may be retained without links to deleted bill events.
